Space Workshop

Through presentation and interactive workshops, the goal was to establish links between the findings of the Space Skills Demand Study report and VET existing trainings, paving the way for a better conveyance between industry needs and existing trainings.

We welcomed 23 participants in total including TAFE SA lecturers and 3 key Industry partners; Matthew Tetlow from Inovor Technologies, Andrew Warr from Neumann Space and Martin Mostert to whom I’d like to thank for their involvement in the workshop.

By providing examples of industry needs and current skills gap, lecturers were able to get a better understanding of the sector’s challenges.

Follow our C4 Space page for further events and current ways we are supporting the Space ecosystem in South Australia!

C4 Space would also like to thank Bec Spicer and Nicholas Howie from TAFE SA for their outstanding support in helping coordinating the day, the Australian Space Agency and the Space Discovery Centre for hosting our networking lunch, the Department for Education, South Australia and Cathy Snelling without whom none of this would have been possible and of course our presenters: Rick Doblanovic, Bill Barrett and Kirby Ikin.
